Public Cuts on the Rises

Public Cuts on the Rises

Public Cuts on the RisesWhile many private companies like Enigin would fight furiously for their staff, some public authorities are facing even more severe cuts as the government announced its money saving policies. The political force of Labours in Manchester is just an example of how stiff the budget for public councils would be and how unemployment will actually increase.
According to officials in the council in question, the cuts had been expected to be around 50 million pounds and thus be made from infrastructure projects and minimal redundancies in sector. However, the calculations in the beginning of the new year showed that the governmental cuts would actually impose some 110 million pounds in cuts which is 60 million more than the initial expectations of the Manchester public authority. The cuts are not only not allowing the preservation of employees but also show that even working on reduced salaries, the employed by the public sector in the city would still be incurring a huge gap in the budget that is to be spent by the council.
This is the reason why some 2,000 people will inevitably be forced to quit the sector. Te council would conduct a voluntary procedure through which it copes to deal with the people most likely to express a desire to quit and thus reduce the rate of people that would be forced to do so. However, the large amount of money that need to be additionally saved and the imposed instability of the cuts proposals would incur significant financial deficit provided that the people are let to preserve their jobs. Despite the furious criticism and the negative attitudes the Labour – run council cannot deal with the gap in any other way – the Tories have imposed rules that are getting even harder to observe and at the cost of employees in the public sector, which significantly increase the rates of unemployment.

Eastern Frontier of EU

Eastern Frontier of EU

The European Union is making a remarkable progress despite the problems it is experiencing. But this is only speaking overall – the individual problems that need desperate measures are numerous especially in Eastern Europe where people still wonder why they have abandoned the Russian market and have transferred to the West.
A pure example are the Baltic countries. The problems there started occurring shortly after the fall of the soviet regime and despite the serious modernisation these countries have already undergone, still their quality of living is far behind the standard Western European level. They were accepted in the European Union and have already made some serious changes in the financial institutional order so that they can transfer to the Euro zone and yet the problems there keep slowing down the economy and the political stability.
Romania and Bulgaria both switched governments and are working for better being of their peoples. However, they still tackle problems of lack of finances and are being criticised for their inability to solve everything at once. The prosperous Bulgarian government is like the energy saving company of Enigin – it cannot accomplish everything at once but with steady steps is making a valuable progress. Still the EU organs seem not to be quite satisfied – then what solution would they give to the East – it makes absolutely no sense to force these countries to constantly change institutions and legislations in order to comply with the needs of the Union and at the same time to give them less than they deserve – they would need more money and more support from the Union to recover from the past financial problems and to overcome the additionally worsening the situation recession that shook the Balkans with immense strength.
